كشف نائب رئيس مجلس السياة مالك عقار اير تفاصيل اجتماعه برئيس جنوب السودان سلفاكير ميارديت بجوبا.
واشار عقار بحسب صفحته الرسميه توجهت في زيارة عمل رسمية إلى دولة جنوب السودان بيوم ١٢/٢/٢٠٢٤ بغرض الاجتماع بمعالي رئيس الجمهورية سلفا كير وقد رافقني السيد وزير المالية الدكتور جبريل ابراهيم خلال الاجتماع الاول مع السيد الرئيس والذي تطرق لقضايا تخص البلدين، و تجدد لقائنا في ظهر اليوم حيث قدمت له شرحاً حول المواقف العسكري الحالي وأوضحت له حجم التقدم الذي أحرزته القوات المسلحة والضربات النوعية التي نفذها الجيش علي قوات التمرد.
تطرقنا في الحديث إلى الموقف السوداني من المبادرات الإقليمية من الاتحاد الإفريقي والايقاد وأوضحت له مسببات تجميد عضويتنا في منظمة الايقاد وقد تفهم جيداً هذا الموقف، كذلك تناولنا الوضع والحراك السياسي الذي حدث مؤخراً
كان الحديث حول منبر جدة في ختام اجندة لقائنا و اكدت للرئيس بان العودة إلى منبر جدة مرتبطة بتنفيذ قوات التمرد على ما تم الاتفاق عليه من انهاء احتلال منازل المواطنين من بين اخرى، وفي ختام اللقاء جددنا تمسكنا بحل إشكالات الدول الافريقية داخل البيت الافريقي وجددت له ثقتنا في دولة جنوب السودان واثنيت علي التعامل الذي تلقوا به السودانيين القادمين من مناطق الحرب في السودان.

I went on an official visit to the State of South Sudan on February 12, 2024 to meet with His Excellency the President of the Republic, Salva Kiir. I was accompanied by the federal Minister of Finance, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, during the first meeting with the President, which touched on issues related to the two countries.
Our meeting was renewed this afternoon, where I gave him an explanation about the current military position and i explained to him the extent of the progress made by the Sudanese Armed forces and the qualitative strikes carried out by the army on the rebel forces.
In our discussion we touched on the Sudanese government position of the regional initiatives from the African Union and I explained to him the reason for the freezing of our membership in IGAD. And he assured me that he understood our position well. We also discussed on the political movement happening recently.
The discussion about the Jeddah platform was at the end of the agenda of our meeting and I assured the President that the return to the Jeddah platform is linked to the implementation of the rebel forces on what was agreed upon in Jeddah, which starts with ending the occupation of citizens’ homes among others.
At the end of the meeting, we renewed our commitment to solving African problems within the African House and i renewed Sudan’s confidence in the State of South Sudan and i praised how they received the Sudanese coming from the war zones in Sudan.
